Recuda.org is a crowdfunding project for social causes in Latin America. During my 7 years at Change.org as a Product Designer, I have learned many things about creating digital products for social change. One of them is that many times the change that people seek is tied to urgent economic needs that can be easily solved with the support of ordinary people.
This platform combines the best of storytelling with the possibility of raising funds directly between petitioners and people. Petitioners get the funds without dealing with intermediaries.Â
I am passionate about clean and accessible design, so I have tried to apply some of the best accessibility practices such as usability, contrast, and clarity among others.
